Circuit breaker

A circuit breaker is a temporary measure implemented to halt trading to reduce panic selling on stock exchanges. Circuit breakers are triggered when a stock or market index experiences a significant price decline within a short period. These measures provide a cooling-off period for investors to assess market conditions and prevent irrational decisions that could worsen losses.
