Collateralised Debt Obligation (CDO)

This refers to a financial product whose value is derived from underlying assets and is sold to institutional investors. CDOs are a type of structured financial product that pools together various loans, such as mortgages, bonds, or other forms of debt, into a single investment vehicle. These pooled assets are then divided into tranches based on risk levels, with each tranche offering different returns to investors.
